Intravenous Sedation

Intravenous sedation is a type of sedation dentistry that provides a safe environment for your child to have their dental treatment completed at one time in the event of unsuccessful office visits. This procedure is performed under the care of a board-certified anesthesiologist and a team of dental professionals. The decision to proceed with IV sedation will be made by you and your child’s pediatric dentist by taking into consideration the patient’s behavior, medical history, and extent of treatment.
